I need suggestions for where to buy ~professional~ shoes for work. I usually have 1 pair of flats that’s acceptable to wear to work at any given time. I love the way heels look but usually they hurt me so much I can only wear them a couple hours. Payless is my go-to but I’ve heard other stores have better quality and this may be why my feet are always in pain.
I have wide, flat feet (so I need places that have wide options) and don’t want to spend too much money - though if I knew they were going to last I’d be willing to spend more than I do now ($20-30).
Also I’m an idiot with figuring out settings stuff so if this won’t let you reply, message me.
THANKS SO MUCH!!
My, isn’t it awkward that you just fuckin recycled a nearly 40 year old article to shit on this latest generation?
Recession. Student debt. Etc. Lots of people smarter than me have already had some excellent commentary on this (here and here and here not to mention all the great Tumblr commentary).
But I do want to say:
Of all the images you could have picked, you chose one of a teenage girl taking a selfie.
Because of course, girls who have been taught nothing else by their elders except that their appearance is what matters are the reason we are all lazy and narcissistic.
Fuck off. You fucking made us. You raised me and my sister and my female cousin and millions and millions of girls to be self-conscious and obsessed with making ourselves look pleasing to men. You taught us that that was our only worth. And now you shit on us for it.
FUCK OFF, TIME.
Fruit from the tree and all that.

why does it matter if someone’s room isn’t clean
like it’s their own personal living space
if they want it messy and they’re comfortable with that then let them keep it like that it’s not your room and there’s this thing called a door that prevents you from having to see it so unless you’re going to go out of your way to spend your own time living in there calm down martha stuart
